Worry of the Day: Random Aches and Pains

Ohmygawd.

What what was that weird twinge?

I've never felt that before.

I'm just going to Google "pregnant lower abdominal pain"

...
...
...
...

Why do I Google things?!

Now I have a list of 14 ailments this could possibly be.

And I'm sure I have the worst one.

Ohgawd, ohgawd, ohgawd.

Reality check: Yep, doomsday could be upon you. But more than likely, it's not. There are so many random aches and pains that come along with carrying around a little one, even when they're REALLY little.

Personally, my funny twinges and pains started super early. No, I'm not going to tell you exactly how many weeks early, because everyone is different. So far (knocking on wood, or whatever this desk is made of), all my little ailments have been nothing. And yours probably are, too. Remember: Your previously unoccupied uterus has had how many years, how many decades, of being vacant?

Right.

Things are moving around inside you to accommodate the little one. And for some people, there are signs of that really early on.

If you're ever truly concerned, call your OB, that's what they're there for. As my mom says, it's OBs and pediatricians who always get the patient calls, so they're used to it.

Love and good vibes,
R
